My box arrived on Monday from Stitch Fix. I hope you can discern from the collage, each of the five items in my shipment. (They are each pictured in the box on my glass coffee table, with my oriental rug in the background.)
The clothing arrived neatly folded and items were wrapped in paper.
I requested a sundress/something to wear in the spring/summer for date nights/girls nights out/or mother’s day. Based on that and my profile, I was sent a sundress, skirt, two halter tops and a cuff bracelet. (They send five items in each shipment.) I felt the items the stylist chose were personalized specifically for me based on the information I provided. She did a great job.
All of the clothing items were lined. I felt the quality of each item was good.
I was very happy with the shipment and delighted with the burgundy Carrina sundress. The black Le Lis skirt was nice, but the lovely cobalt and light pink/lace halter blouses did not fit well. So, I decided to return the tops. I loved all of the styles and colors.
In general, I thought the prices seemed fair.
The 18 k gold plated Gorjana cuff bracelet (the most expensive item) at $75 was a little tight putting on. However, I think overtime, I will get a better knack for it.
I am not talented when it comes to clothes shopping and fashion. I appreciate the help from stitchfix.com and look forward to my next shipment.
You can schedule regular shipments or one shipment at a time. I am requesting one shipment at a time.
The on-line checkout was easy. They ask for your feedback about each item, so they can tailor their next fixes.
On checking out, I kept only the sundress. However, the next morning, I decided to keep the skirt and bracelet and look for a top at the mall. I sent customer service an email to get billed for the additional items and received a confirmation email back from them later that night. (I found a pretty blue blouse for the outfit at the mall. It is not as nice as the one sent in my box, but is similar material.)
The company provides a USPS pre-paid priority mail bag in the box. So, it is easy to return items. You only have three business days to post the package containing return items, otherwise you will be charged for all five items.
Also, included in the box is a personalized style sheet on heavy stock paper and a separate page with details and prices for each item in the box.
There is a $20 styling fee for each fix that is non-refundable. It is applied toward any purchase you make on that particular shipment.
Stitch Fix gives you 25% off your purchase price, when you purchase all five items.
My only complaints are that there is no on-line record of the billing, no customer service phone number or on-line chat and about a 24 hour turn around for some responses to emails.
Let me know what you think! Is this something you would try out?
