I haven’t posted a StitchFix post in awhile. I’ve been uncertain about supporting StitchFix as it is not always fabulous.
I’ve had two fixes that were not too good. Both times (after contacting them), StitchFix sent a replacement fix free of charge. The fix they sent prior to Christmas included two tops that were perfect for the holidays.
- Collective Concepts – Judit V-Neck Blouse (Burgundy) – $54
- Olive & Oak Foray Hooded Knit Top (Burgundy) – $58
Recently, from StitchFix, I was given and accepted the exclusive offer for twelve months worth of unlimited (one fix at a time) fixes for $49. The $49 was applied toward my next purchase. This means, I wont be charged styling fees going forward.
Sadly, I learned that my original stylist was no longer styling fixes. I haven’t requested any particular stylist yet.
I think many items are priced too high. Not being much of a shopper, I do experience sticker shock sometimes. However, I think these prices are close to non-sale retail in many stores.
Being retired, I don’t feel I need a relatively expansive wardrobe. Also, I don’t always feel inclined to pay top dollar for items. Even though I have unlimited fixes, I will be conservative with my scheduling.
Have you tried Stitch Fix? Where do you shop?
